Custom Printed Souvenir Magnets

The three types of souvenir magnets

We offer three variations of souvenir or fridge magnets with high-quality custom prints from your design. The most economical is a print directly on a magnetic mat with a flat surface. A more visually attractive version adds a clear polyurethane dome on top of the magnet, creating a three-dimensional illusion on top of the print. A third option is ready-made shapes of durable ABS body with magnetic back and a full-color printed print covering the front; this is what we call a Retro Souvenir Magnet.

Custom shapes and contour cutting

The flat and the doming magnet are cut to virtually any shape you desire. Contour cutting, or custom shaping, is part of the manufacturing process. With contour cutting and clear polyurethane doming, there can be no sharp corners to properly cast the liquid doming material on the surface of the magnet. The Retro Souvenir Magnets

The vintage-style Retro Magnets are printed on an FSC-certified paper stock, using the latest innovation in the production printing industry.

Special effects such as metallic silver and gold, UV varnish, soft touch lamination, and glow-in-the-dark effects are also available.

High-quality liquid doming adds longevity

After printing and cutting into the contour magnets' shape, a clear polyurethane dome is cast. Some manufacturers, especially in Asia, use cheaper epoxy resin to cast doming magnets. Epoxy has a tendency to start yellowing in as little as a year.

The polyurethane doming material we use does not turn yellow, and it helps keep the printed image vivid for years. If you plan on selling the magnets for an extended time, this might be something to consider to keep your stock current.
